Jacques Lurton is an oenologist, based in Bordeaux France. He manages his two vineyards, one in Australia on the beautiful Kangaroo Island and the other in Bordeaux.He provides technical advice to a variety of companies and produces a range of Loire Valley wines under his own label in France. In 2001 Jacques and his Brother entered into a joint venture with famous travelling winemaker Michel Rolland and his brother Dany to set up Burdigala, a vineyard in AOC Toro, Spain, and produce wines under the "Campo Eliseo" Label. He currently lives in Bordeaux at Chateau La Martinette where he produces elegant Bordeaux Merlot. He has lived and made wine in most wine producing countries and continues to travel the world making wine and learning about different styles, methods and Terroirs.
